Indie-pop trio, Beachfriends, made a splash when they dropped their first single, “Waves,” in 2020. Quickly capturing the attention of indie music lovers thanks to features on Spotify’s editorial playlists Fresh Finds: Pop and Soda, the Tulsa-based band followed their vibrant, topical pop track with equally impressive second and third singles, “NVM” and “Slide.” Fans of The 1975, Nightly, and joan, you’ll want to add this rising indie-pop band to your playlists - they’re about to blow up.
Comprised of lead singer Brady Ballew and brothers Will (guitar) and Charlie Spears (drums), Beachfriends is quickly carving a space for themselves in the indie-pop scene. Combining warm synths, punchy guitar riffs, and catchy melodies, their music just makes you feel good. It’s the type of music you want to throw on as your driving to the beach with your friends.
Beachfriends just released their latest single, “Psycho,” an upbeat track with shimmering synths, lilting guitar riffs, and an incredibly catchy chorus. Lead singer, Brady Ballew, had this to say about the track:
"Psycho" is for everyone. I think we've all felt like we're so into someone that we can't think straight or make sense of what we're doing anymore. It can get intense. This song is celebrating losing your mind over someone."
“Psycho” is out today and available everywhere you can stream music! It’s the perfect song to shake off that last bit of winter and get you in the mood for summer - I’m ready to pack my beach bag and get on the road after listening to it.
